Modern Primitive Artist

“Modern primitive” is a term coined by Fakir Musafar back in 1967 to “describe a non – tribal person who responds to primal urges and does something with the body.” I disagree with the assumption that it has to be some thing with the body. Most of the time it’s the mind that has the urges. But the older I get the more I find that two things are true. 1. My mind has as much, if not more creative energy and passion as it has ever had and 2. My body has far less energy and tends to let my mind down on a regular basis.
